Secure Aggregation Router
The 5186 is a compact, security-enhanced, secure aggregation router with up to 1.6 Tb/s FlexEthernet (FlexE) aggregation. With integrated line-rate media access control security (MACsec) support, line-rate IPsec-ready hardware, and 100/200/400GbE aggregation, the 5186 can scale to 1.6 Tb/s routing and switching capacity. Support for FlexE/G.8310 metro transport networking and ultra-reliable low-latency FlexE channel switching enables both hard and soft slicing capabilities. This router is purpose-built to cater to the speed and performance demands of mobile xHaul aggregation and transport, data center interconnect (DCI), residential broadband aggregation, and edge cloud routing.
