Demos show how network providers can us AI to drive operational automation and monetization strategies
At this year's MWC (3rd March – 6th March), Ciena's booth (Hall 2, stand 2J51) will feature a variety of demonstrations that showcase how network operators can transform their networks with AI. Attendees can explore Ciena's virtual Executive Briefing Center (vEBC), featuring a new interactive AI module that shares the company's insights on building AI-powered networks that help improve efficiency and create new revenue streams. Ciena will also spotlight the Blue Planet intelligent automation portfolio with demonstrations that illustrate how service providers can optimize network operations and unlock monetization opportunities.

- Navigator AI Assistant – featuring new AI techniques to enhance and automate network operations, including predictive maintenance and shared risk link group (SRLG) auto-discovery.
- Virtual Cell Site Router (vCSR) – showing how to capitalize on Cloud RAN and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) opportunities in mobile architecture.
- AI-Powered Service Assurance – a Blue Planet demo showing how AI-driven insights help service providers shift from reactive to proactive operations.
- IP Digital Twin – featuring Blue Planet’s ability to leverage advanced graph intelligence to help communication service providers optimize the network based on specific Quality of Service desired.
- Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) Bandwidth on Demand – showcasing Blue Planet’s dynamic inventory and intent-based multi-domain orchestration software for zero-touch provisioning and activation of on-demand transport services.
- Dynamic Network Slice Lifecycle Automation – demonstrating Blue Planet’s intelligent automation solution for end-to end network slice design, activation, and assurance from the core to the RAN, enabling faster monetization of 5G networks.
